Adam Wilson has not made his Premier League debut yet for Newcastle United and Blackburn Rovers could reportedly take advantage.

Newcastle is a city in love with football. So why there has been such a shortage of homegrown talent emerging through Newcastle United’s academy in the last decade is baffling.
Only Paul Dummett has really established himself as a first-team player in recent seasons, after all, with the likes of Adam Armstrong, Jak Alnwick and Rolando Aarons failing to make the grade.
However, Adam Wilson has given Newcastle fans something to look forward to.
The 18-year-old winger is highly rated at St James’ Park, so much so that the Chronicle reported in March that they were handing him a professional deal, believing he has a big future on Tyneside.
But is there a chance he could leave Newcastle without ever making his first-team bow? According to the Chronicle, Blackburn Rovers are closely watching the England U18 international, who has made six appearances in Premier League 2 this season.

Blackburn manager Tony Mowbray – a former Middlesbrough captain and manager – is understood to have excellent links in the North East and travelled to Newcastle last season to scout Wilson.
Fortunately, however, Newcastle hold all the cards having tied down the youngster and it would make little sense to let him go now. That said, if the teenager did move to Ewood Park, he would be linking up with former Magpies prospect Armstrong.
