Japan winger Nakajima appears set for a move to England with Southampton, Leicester City and Wolverhampton Wanderers all linked.

Shoya Nakajima may be playing his football for a mid-table club in the Portuguese top flight but that has not stopped clubs in England from spotting this diamond in the rough.
A Bola have claimed that Wolverhampton Wanderers are in advanced negotiations to sign the Japan international winger from Portimonense for a fee of £17 million. Record also claimed in early December that Southampton have sent scouts to watch Nakajima in action and have expressed their desire to bring him to St Mary’s.
And latest claims suggest that both Wolves and Southampton are one step closer.
A Bola also stated that Leicester City wanted to bring Nakajima to England, but now the Leicester Mercury has pointed out that Claude Puel’s side do not plan on making any signings during the January transfer window.

As a result, Wolves and Southampton should be encouraged with Leicester seemingly out of the race.
Of the two clubs, Southampton probably need Nakajima more with a lack of creativity at the heart of their rapid decline since the start of last season. Nakajima scored 10 goals and set up 13 more in all competitions for Portimonense in 2017/18.
