Kieran Tierney is on the comeback trail for Scottish Premiership leaders Celtic.

Celtic fans have been handed a welcome boost on Friday with the Daily Record reporting that Kieran Tierney has returned to first-team training with the rest of the squad.
The Hoops have won their last six games since the 1-0 defeat at Rangers in December but that does not mean Brendan Rodgers’ side have not missed their influential left-back.
The Scotland international hasn’t featured since the Europa League defeat to Red Bull Salzburg almost two months ago with a persistent hip injury keeping him on the sidelines.

The Daily Record claim that Tierney was spotted training by himself at the start of the week but he has now renewed acquaintances with the rest of the squad as Rodgers put them through their paces ahead of Sunday’s Scottish Cup fifth round clash against St Johnstone at Parkhead.
The fact that Tierney is closing in on a return to the first-team could hardly have been timed better with a daunting Europa League clash against Valencia on the horizon.
Celtic are already without Emilio Izaguirre thanks to injury, while Calvin Miller joined Ayr United on loan in January.
