Alexander Sorloth did not manage to score a Premier League goal after joining Crystal Palace in January, but could he leave for the Turkish Super Lig?

Despite a couple of bright performances, it is fair to say Alexander Sorloth did not have the impact Crystal Palace fans hoped he would when he joined from Midtjylland on January deadline day for £9 million.
The Norwegian international striker failed to score a goal in each of his four Premier League appearances and did not play a single game after the 2-1 defeat to Chelsea in early March due to injury.

And reports on the continent are suggesting that Sorloth could even leave Selhurst Park just five months after arriving. Sporx reports that Galatasaray are set to make a bid of around £7 million for the 22-year-old former Rosenborg and Groningen front man.
It is understood that the Istanbul giants, who won the Turkish Super Lig title in dramatic fashion last season, are set to make a concrete move for Sorloth in the coming days.

It would be a big surprise, however, if Crystal Palace were willing to give up on the Scandinavian target man already, especially at a £2 million loss.
Roy Hodgson had been full of praise for Sorloth after his arrival with his movement, work rate and hold-up play catching the eye of supporters before his season was prematurely cut short.
The Standard, meanwhile, reported that Palace were willing to cash in on their misfiring record signing Christian Benteke amid interest from China. So it surely makes no sense to let Sorloth go, too.
