Fulham reportedly want to bring Nordtveit back to the Premier League from Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim.

Fulham are interested in offering Havard Nordtveit another chance in the Premier League, according to TV2 – and a move has been given the blessing by Craven Cottage legend Brede Hangeland.
It is understood that Fulham have entered talks with Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim and are hoping to announce the signing of the versatile Norwegian before today’s transfer deadline.
Nordtveit has made eight Bundesliga appearances this season and, while he can play in midfield, the majority of those have come at centre-back. So, should he arrive in West London, he will be tasked with improving a Fulham defence which is statistically the worst in the Premier League.
And, speaking to TV2, former Fulham captain Hangeland believes his fellow Norwegian Nordtveit could be a fine addition.
“I can’t see any other reason why Fulham should sign him than he should go straight to the team,” said the 37-year-old, who played for The Cottagers between 2008 and 2014.

“Fulham has a defence that is definitely not good enough.”
The one-time Arsenal youngster was a disaster the last time he played in England, however, spending one forgettable season at West Ham United in 2016/17.
Nordtveit made just 16 Premier League appearances under Slaven Bilic and failed to make any sort of impression, leaving for Hoffenheim just a year after he arrived.
