Krychowiak struggled badly with West Brom in the Premier League so should Fulham think twice about signing him from Ligue 1 champions PSG?

Grzegorz Krychowiak was so disappointing during his season-long loan spell at West Brom but the Polish international could be handed a second chance to prove himself in the Premier League.

The Mail (live blog, 11.08am) is reporting that newly promoted Fulham are keen on the Paris Saint-Germain outcast, who is available for transfer this summer after failing to make any sort of an impression at the Parc des Princes.

PSG paid £26 million to sign Krychowiak on the back of Euro 2016, where he shone for Poland and established himself as one of the most coveted defensive midfielders on the continent.

The former Reims midfielder had starred during two seasons with Sevilla between 2014 and 2016, winning the Europa League twice.

But he struggled to make the step up at PSG, making just 11 Ligue 1 appearances, and failed to make much of an impression during his time at West Brom either. Krychowiak looked a shadow of his former self as the Baggies finished bottom of the Premier League, scuppering any hopes he might have had of a permanent move to the Midlands.

So Fulham fans might be a little wary amid reports that they could hand the midfielder a fresh start at Craven Cottage. Krychowiak is a fierce powerhouse of a midfielder at his best but he has been poor for two seasons now so any deal would carry a large degree of risk.
