Premier League newcomers Fulham appear to have found David Button’s replacement in Besiktas’s 2017 Super Lig champion Fabricio.

Fulham were forced to wait until the middle of July to complete their first signings of the summer, a remarkable and expensive double-deal for Nice stars Maxime le Marchand and Jean Michel Seri. But the next three weeks look like being very busy at Craven Cottage.
And it seems that newly promoted Fulham are now closing in on their third signing of the summer.
According to Fanatik, Besiktas have accepted their bid of £5.4 million for goalkeeper Fabricio. The 30-year-old Spaniard has been linked with a move to the West Londoners in recent days and it seems they have stepped up their interest now that David Button has left for Brighton.
This comes just two days after Sporx claimed that Fulham had seen a bid worth £4.5 million rejected. With just a year left on his contract though, it seems that Besiktas have decided to cash in on a player they signed from Deportivo La Coruna in 2016.

Fabricio has been a huge success at Besiktas, winning the Super Lig title in 2017 and starring in the Champions League as the Istanbul outfit reached the knockout stages last season, only to be swept aside by Bayern Munich.
Fanatik adds that Arsenal’s Colombian international David Opsina, who is now likely to be third choice behind Bernd Leno and Petr Cech, has been lined up as a potential replacement for Fabricio.
