Arsenal won’t let Calum Chamers leave on the cheap with Premier League newcomers Fulham reportedly interested.

With Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Caglar Soyuncu heavily linked with a move to Arsenal, Calum Chambers looks set to tumble ever further down the pecking order at the Emirates.
The 23-year-old defender has found opportunities increasingly hard to come by during his four years in North London and started just 10 Premier League games last season after spending the 2016/17 campaign on loan at Middlesbrough.

But in new reports provided by The Times, Fulham’s hopes might be over already.
It is understood that Arsenal will demand at least £22 million for the England U21 international. If this does not put him out of Fulham’s price range, surely the Cottagers should come to the conclusion that equally talented players could be found in the market for a much lower fee.

Arsenal priced Chambers out of a move away from North London last summer, demanding £27 million for the former Southampton youngster amid interest from Crystal Palace. And history might be repeating itself this time around.
Chambers is renowned for his versatility and can also play at right-back. But, with Arsenal signing Stephan Lichtsteiner from Juventus, it appears that every route into the first-team is being blocked off.
