Ryan Giles and Pedro Goncalves have been a revelation for Premier League newcomers Wolverhampton Wanderers in recent weeks.
Wolverhampton Wanderers might be willing to pay big in the transfer market but this is not necessarily at the expense of their most exciting young talents.
Morgan Gibbs-White (above left) has been a revelation in pre-season and surely now has a genuine chance of partnering Ruben Neves in central midfield when the 2018/19 Premier League campaign kicks off.
Ryan Giles and Pedro Goncalves have been very impressive, too. The former, a teenage left-back, has impressed hugely with his speed and directness on the flanks while the latter, who joined from Valencia last summer, has looked tidy and composed when given a chance.
Unlike Gibbs-White, however, Giles and Goncalves may be forced to wait for their chance at a competitive level.
The Birmingham Mail reports that Nuno Espirito Santo believes a number of his younger players would benefit from a loan at a Football League club, with both Giles and Goncalves (below) in contention for temporary moves away from Molineux.
The duo have never made a first-team appearance for the senior side outside of pre-season so could certainly benefit from getting some competitive football under their belt elsewhere.
Giles, as it stands, would be behind Barry Douglas in the pecking order while Goncalves’ chances in the first XI will be hit by the impending arrival of Joao Moutinho from Monaco.
