Ouasim Bouy has not made a single appearance for Leeds United since moving to the Championship and is currently in the Eredivisie with PEC Zwolle.

At the age of 25, Ouasim Bouy has already represented some of the most historic clubs in European football with Juventus, Ajax, Hamburg and Leeds United adorning his CV.
But, of all the signings made by Leeds’ director of football Victor Orta in the last year and a half, Bouy is perhaps the most forgettable.
After joining on a free from Juventus in 2017, the midfielder spent last season at Leeds’ sister club Cultural Leonesa. But, in an entire campaign in the Spanish second tier, Bouy made just four appearances in all competitions.
Once Marcelo Bielsa had been named Leeds’ new head coach, it was not long before he was loaned out again. He joined Eredivisie club PEC Zwolle who, surprisingly, have been willing to cover his entire weekly wage.

And the Yorkshire Evening Post has now provided a glimpse behind the curtain into Bouy’s bizarre time at Elland Road. It is claimed that Bielsa’s predecessors, Thomas Christiansen and Paul Heckingbottom, saw ‘little enthusiasm or ambition’ in Bouy.
It is suggested that Bielsa, too, was not too impressed by the seldom-seen players’ attitude behind the scenes.
So perhaps this explains why he has never been given a chance to prove himself at Elland Road.
