Premier League champions Manchester City have already reportedly made a £43m bid for Lyon’s Ligue 1 star Tanguy Ndombele.

Pep Guardiola is looking to add some steel and physicality to Manchester City’s already star-studded midfield this summer with The Standard pointing out that Lyon ace Tanguy Ndombele possesses many of the qualities he is looking for.
City sealed the Premier League title on Sunday, beating Brighton 4-1 at The Amex to finally bring an end to Liverpool’s challenge on the final day of a thrilling season. Guardiola is now the first manager to retain the trophy since Sir Alex Ferguson a decade ago.
But a man who also dominated the domestic scene at Barcelona and Bayern Munich will not rest on his laurels with Manchester City expected to invest heavily once again in the summer.

They have been linked with a number of exciting young midfielders to potentially replace 34-year-old Fernandinho and Ndombele, a hugely promising France international who has shone over the last 18 months at Lyon, continues to be mentioned as a potential big-money signing.
Le10Sport claims that City have already seen a £43 million bid rejected. But City could soon incfease their offer with The Standard claiming that Ndombele has the physical qualities he is looking for.
