Harry Wilson has been tipped to leave Premier League giants Liverpool for a loan spell in the Championship – but will Aston Villa be his desination?

Bristol City found out last season that Liverpool don’t take it so well when you loan a player from Anfield and then keep him out of the starting XI.
Ryan Kent featured just 10 times after moving to Bristol City on loan last January and, according to Bristol Live, were eventually forced to pay a fine of £500,000. So any club wishing to land Harry Wilson for next season, and there is quite a few of them, will have to keep this in mind.
The Liverpool Echo claims that 12 Championship clubs have made an enquiry about the 21-year-old on the back of his seven-goals-in-eleven-games spell at Hull City. But any suitor must beware that failing to give Wilson regular game-time could hit them hard in the pocket.

Villa are understood to be one of the dozen interested in Wilson, the youngest international in Wales’ history and arguably Liverpool’s most exciting young talent.
But the Midland giants are in a dire financial situation and are being forced to sell many of their key players. Therefore, the prospect of a fine for not including Wilson in the starting XI regularly enough for Liverpool’s liking means a deal is perhaps not worth the hassle.
The problems are just adding up for Steve Bruce.
