FC Ituano’s Brazilian starlet Gabriel Martinelli is reportedly set to become Arsenal’s first signing of the summer transfer window.

Arsenal have agreed a deal to sign FC Ituano forward Gabriel Martinelli and he will seal a move to the Emirates in June, according to UOL Esporte.
The Gunners have been heavily linked with the Brazilian starlet for a number of weeks now with Crystal Palace and Watford also showing an interest, UOL claims. But it seems that Unai Emery’s side have all but won the race with the transfer window on the horizon.
A wide attacker with plenty of pace and an eye for goal, Martinelli scored six times during the 2019 Campeonato Paulista tournament as Ituano reached the quarter-finals.
He has also been compared to Everton’s £50 million star Richarlison, who started his career at Fluminense before moving to England two years ago.

And UOL reports that he has jetted into Europe to obtain an Italian passport that would help Arsenal avoid potential work permit issues.
It remains to be seen how much Arsenal will pay for a player they are expected to unveil in June when he turns 18 but Fox Sports recently that they had made a bid of £5.1 million.
