Tottenham Hotspur reportedly want to bring Spain U21 international Carlos Soler to the Premier League from La Liga outfit Valencia.

Valencia might have underwhelmed in La Liga and in Europe this season but the same cannot be said for Carlos Soler.
The 22-year-old midfielder has been the brightest spark in another difficult season for the perennial crisis club, scoring two goals and providing six assists in all competitions.
In short, Soler has been a real threat in his favoured right wing role, picking apart opposition defences with his vision and wonderful passing range.
So reports from the Standard that Tottenham Hotspur see the Spain U21 international as a potential replacement for the departed Mousa Dembele certainly raise eyebrows.
After all, Soler has played just five of 28 games in the centre of midfield this season and has looked far more at home in an advanced, wide role that allows him to run the game from the flank and link up with the centre forwards.

But Tottenham obviously feel they can transform Soler into a deep-lying play-maker, perhaps aiming to replicate the success Manchester City have enjoyed with another former Valencia winger David Silva.
ESPN claimed on Monday that Spurs are prepared to pay £30 million for Soler and he could be an enticing project for Mauricio Pochettino to get his teeth in to.
