Henry Onyekuru is set to leave Everton for Ligue 1 without ever making an appearance in the Premier League.

Everton forward Henry Onyekuru could complete a £12 million move to Monaco within the next 24 hours after travelling to the south of France to finalise a deal with the Ligue 1 outfit, according to The Mail.
Two years after The Toffees fought off competition from clubs all over Europe to sign a dazzling young Nigerian, Onyekuru is set to bid farewell without ever playing a game for the Merseyside giants.
Work permit issues have put pay to that. Despite sending the 22-year-old out on loan to Anderlecht and Galatasaray in the last two years, red tape continues to prevent Onyekuru from featuring in the Premier League for Marco Silva’s side.
As a result, Everton have no real choice but to cash in. At least they’re set to make a decent profit with Monaco paying £12 million for an attacker who joined The Toffees for £4 million less.
According to The Mail, Onyekuru is set to join Cesc Fabregas, Radamel Falcao and Alexander Golovin in the Principality. A deal could be announced as early as Tuesday with Onyekuru travelling across the Channel to finalise terms.

With Everton grinding out a dismal goalless draw with Crystal Palace on Saturday, however, Toffees fans might be disappointed to learn that a player with Onyekuru’s vast potential is set to slip through their grasp.
The sky is the limit for a forward who’s 16 goals fired Galatasaray to the Turkish Super Lig title after all.
