Kevin Mirallas has barely played a Premier League game for Everton under Ronald Koeman and Marco Silva and now he is reportedly returning to Belgium.

Kevin Mirallas is on the verge of escaping from his Everton purgatory with a return to Belgium giants Standard Liege edging closer, according to Voetbal 24.
Mirallas is the forgotten man at Goodison Park these days. A £6 million signing from Olympiakos in 2012 (BBC), things started very well for the winger in English football as he thrived under both David Moyes and Roberto Martinez.
But the arrival of Ronald Koeman, then latterly Marco Silva, saw Mirallas’ importance diminish rapidly amid concerns over his attitude and team ethic. Everton fans everywhere will remember that penalty incident with Leighton Baines in 2015 after all.
Now, with just 12 months left on his contract, and coming off the back of dreadful loan spells at Olympiakos and Fiorentina, it seems only a matter of time before Mirallas’ Everton career is over for good.

The 31-year-old started his career at Standard Liege before leaving for Lille in 2004 and Voetbal 24 reports that he is on his way back to the Stade Maurice Dufrasne.
Liege coach Michel Preud’homme is apparently already preparing to have Mirallas in his Rouges squad with the report claiming that there will soon be white smoke rising into the Liege sky proclaiming the return of this prodigal son.
