Antonee Robinson shone in the Championship with Bolton Wanderers last season and Everton will loan him out again once they sign Lucas Digne from Barcelona.

Lucas Digne to Everton appears to be all-but a done deal.

The Barcelona defender has been linked with a move to Goodison Park in recent weeks and has seemingly emerged as The Toffees’ first-choice to replace the long-serving left-back Leighton Baines.

The Mirror stated that Digne is set to sign in a £22 million deal after Barcelona gave him permission to fly home from their pre-season tour of the USA to put the finishing touches on a move away from the reigning La Liga champions.

And, in a lengthy message posted on his official Instagram account, Digne appears to have bid farewell to Barca as his expected move to Everton edges closer. But while the former PSG and Roma ace arrives, one will be allowed to depart.

According to the Liverpool Echo, Bolton Wanderers would love to bring 2017/18 loan star Antonee Robinson back to the Macron. And it is reported that he is indeed expected to return to Lancashire once Digne’s arrival is confirmed.

20-year-old Robinson played 30 games on loan at Bolton as Phil Parkinson’s side escaped from relegation on the final day. Athletic and attack-minded, he was a huge hit with Wanderers fans and players alike and was rewarded for his fine displays with an international debut against Bolivia in May.

Another loan spell in Bolton looks sensible, then, with Digne’s arrival set to restrict his first-team opportunities.
