Lucas Ocampos faces an uncertain future at Ligue 1 club Marseille and is reportedly a target for Premier League side Everton.

Everton are interested in signing Lucas Ocampos from Marseille this summer, according to Calciomercato.
At the age of 24, the Argentine attacker has already played for AC Milan, Genoa, Monaco and River Plate and his nomadic career could be set to continue with a move to the Premier League apparently on the cards for a player who’s contract expires in 2020.
Ocampos, who is a left winger by trade, has produced five goals and seven assists for Marseille this season and the Ligue 1 giants could be forced to sell this summer to avoid losing the skilful forward on a free in a year’s time.
Everton are interested, according to Calciomercato, and Ocampos would fit Marcel Brands’ mould given that he is a young, promising talent with a potentially huge re-sale value.

Interestingly, former Toffees manager Ronald Koeman tried and failed to sign the Buenos Aires-born winger in 2016, only for an ill-timed injury to scupper his chances of a switch to Southampton, as reported by France Football.
It remains to be seen, however, whether Ocampos will seize his chance to finally make the move to England this summer.
