Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig aren’t accepting defeat in their attempts to lure Everton winger Ademola Lookman away from the Premier League.

RB Leipzig’s coach/sporting director Ralf Rangnick has hardly been subtle about his interest in Ademola Lookman.
“We want him back and he wants to come,” Rangnick said in quotes reported by Sky Sports.
After failing to force his way into Sam Allardyce’s starting XI, Lookman moved to Leipzig on loan in the January transfer window and it’s fair to say he made a very positive impression in the Bundesliga, scoring five goals and setting up three more in seven league starts.
And after making a number of bids for the former Charlton winger, the most recent being £22 million according to The Mirror, it seems that Leipzig aren’t a million miles away from meeting Everton’s asking price.
Despite Marco Silva’s desire for Lookman to stay, Sky claim that Everton are demanding £28 million plus add ons for the 20-year-old Englishman.

It would be a surprise, then, if Leipzig decided against raising their offer by another £6 million. Their philosophy revolves around signing young, hungry players, turning them into stars before selling them on for profit.
Lookman, then, fits the mould.
The youngster joined Everton for £12 million from Charlton in January 2017 and hasn’t featured in either of Marco Silva’s two Premier League games so far. He was left out of the squad entirely against Wolves on the opening day.
