Premier League quartet Norwich City, Everton, the Saints and Wolverhampton Wanderers reportedly want Hamilton with Derby County also interested.

Everton are preparing a January bid for Scottish Premiership starlet Jamie Hamilton with Wolverhampton Wanderers, Derby County, Southampton and Norwich City also interested in the young defender, according to the Mail.
In a fine case of nominative determinism, Hamilton has emerged as one of the breakthrough stars north of the border after rising through the ranks at none other than Hamilton Academical.
While his one and only league appearance this season ended in disaster, with a red card for a handball against Motherwell, that has not put off his suitors from below the border.
It is no secret that Everton are short of depth at centre-half while The Toffees’ director of football Marcel Brands has a useful habit of spotting diamonds in the rough before they become household names. Everton are reportedly planning a bid as they look to lure Hamilton to Goodison Park in January.
Wolves, Norwich, Southampton and Derby have also sent scouts to New Douglas Park recently.

Wolves are always on the lookout for potential stars of the next generation, signing the likes of Meritan Shabani and Pedro Neto this year alone, while Ralph Hasenhuttl admitted to ITV that he wants young, hungry players to form the backbone of his Southamptons squad.
Hamilton, therefore, fits the bill.
