Everton are reportedly hoping to bring former Manchester City striker Dzeko back to the Premier League.

With a number of Premier League clubs in need of a striker, interest in Roma’s Edin Dzeko is hotting up.
And according to Calciomercato on Monday, Everton are set to step up their interest and are considering an offer of up to £23 million for a player referred to in Italy as ‘the bomber of Sarajevo’.
Despite being due to turn 33 years of age in March, Dzeko remains one of the most highly regarded strikers anywhere in Europe on the back of two outstanding seasons with Roma. He has scored 70 goals for the Serie A giants since the start of the 2016/17 season.
And Calciomercato add that Everton see Dzeko as a replacement for Cenk Tosun, the Turkish international who has failed to win over Marco Silva at Goodison Park.
Interestingly, La Reppublica claimed on Friday that two other Premier League clubs were keen to bring the former Manchester City hit man back to England – West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur.

Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini won the Premier League title alongside Dzeko in 2014 while Spurs’ lack of depth in attack was highlighted by Fernando Llorente’s dismal performance in the narrow 2-1 win at Fulham on Sunday.
The Spaniard scored an own goal and was completely ineffective at the other end.
