Kevin Mirallas seemingly has no future in the Premier League at Everton but is he heading back to Belgium with Royal Antwerp?

Kevin Mirallas was spotted watching reported suitors Royal Antwerp on Thursday night as he edges closer to a move away from Everton, as reported by Het Nieuwsblad.
It is never a good sign when a player loses his shirt number. And after Theo Walcott took over the number 11 jersey at the start of 2018/19, it always looked like the writing was on the wall for a player Everton paid £6 million for seven years ago.
Mirallas has slipped out of favour ever since Marco Silva took over, spending last season on loan at Fiorentina while Richarlison, Bernard, Alex Iwobi and Moise Kean all arrived at Goodison Park.
SudInfo claimed on Wednesday that the veteran winger is desperate to seal a return to Belgium as he nears the autumn of his career and, while Anderlecht and Standard Liege decided to look elsewhere, Club Brugge and Antwerp are interested.
Yet any Brugge fans who were hoping that Mirallas would follow Victor Wanyama to the Jupiler League runners-up are likely to end up disappointed.

The 60-time international was spotted in the home end as Antwerp hosted AZ Alkmaar in the second leg of their Europa League qualifier. The report claims that Mirallas was expected to sign a three-year deal if Antwerp reached the competition’s group stages.
A stunning 4-1 home defeat to Dutch opposition, however, might just give Mirallas food for thought. Brugge, after all, will be playing Champions League football this season while Antwerp are stuck at home.
