Brendan Galloway has struggled during loans at West Brom and Sunderland so what does his future hold at Premier League outfit Everton?

Brendan Galloway’s reputation has taken a beating over the last two seasons.
Loan spells at West Brom and Sunderland were supposed to help the young defender to force his way into Everton’s first-team plans but it’s fair to say things didn’t go to plan at either the Hawthorns or the Stadium of Light.
Galloway started just three games at West Brom before being dropped by Tony Pulis in August and suffered the same fate at Sunderland, falling out of favour after just seven Championship appearances.
As a result, the Liverpool Echo reports that Everton are trying to help the 22-year-old get back on track by handing him regular minutes with the U23s. Galloway has featured in all three games for the reserve team so far in 2018/19.

The report adds that the former MK Dons youngster was hoping to leave on loan again this summer. But after the disastrous stints with The Baggies and the Black Cats, Everton obviously believe he would be better off being taken out of the limelight.
Academy boss David Unsworth said recently that they were trying to ‘rebuild’ Galloway’s career.
So the versatile defender will be a Toffee until January at least.
