Lyon’s Ndombele has been linked with Premier League trio Everton, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City, as well as Barcelona and Juventus.

And in reports provided by the Liverpool Echo, Everton are the latest side interested in winning the race for his sought-after signature.
It is claimed that The Toffees, who have been spending big since Farhad Moshiri completed his takeover in 2016, sent chief scout Martyn Glover to watch Ndombele of late with Lyon understood to be valuing their player at £40 million.
The Liverpool Echo adds that head coach Marco Silva and director of football Marcel Brands are both in agreement that Everton need a powerful, all-action central midfielder like Ndombele, particularly with Andre Gomes only on loan from Barcelona.
Tottenham Hotspur have been heavily linked of late with the former Amiens man identified as a potential Mousa Dembele replacement while RMC reports that Manchester City had a £45 million bid rejected in the summer.
