Dinamo Zagreb starlet Ajdin Hasic could reportedly be on his way to the Premier League with Everton.

Everton fans should get used to the name Ajdin Hasic. Because they are apparently one of a number of European clubs vying to sign the latest wonder-kid to emerge out of Croatia.

Hasic is a 17-year-old winger who represents Dinamo Zagreb’s reserve team in the second tier of Croatian football. He is also a Bosnia and Herzegovina international at youth level. And he has just become one of the most in-demand youngsters anywhere on the continent.

According to Jutarnji, Everton are rivalling Real Madrid, Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund and Red Bull Salzburg for a teenager who has been referred to as the ‘Maksimir Dybala’.

And the comparisons with Juventus’ Argentine star certainly make sense. Like Dybala, Hasic is a gifted and diminutive forward with a wand of a left foot that is capable of producing something glorious out of very little.

Hasic certainly caught the eye back in March when he scored a stunning goal from inside his own half for Bosnia and Herzegovina against Austria’s U17 side.

Interestingly, Hasic’s contract situation at Dinamo is up in the air right now. He was due to be tied down until 2021 but, according to Jutarnji, ‘has practically packed his bags with his family and left Dinamo’ in a move that has apparently caused ‘outrage’ at the Croatian giants.

Hasic, it is claimed, has mutually agreed to see his contract terminated which could allow the likes of Everton, Real Madrid or Barcelona to sign him for free – having previously been prepared to pay big to snap up one of the biggest talents in Eastern Europe.
