Marcel Brands will be key as Premier League outfit Everton reportedly look to lure Piroe away from Eredivisie champions PSV.

Everton are interested in signing the exciting PSV Eindhoven forward Joel Piroe but face competition from Juventus, according to Calciomercato.
There are a whole host of promising talents emerging at the current Eredivisie champions, with Mohammed Ihattaren and Cody Gakpo forcing their way into Mark Van Bommell’s starting XI since the turn of the year.
While 19-year-old Piroe is yet to make his top flight debut, he has impressed with PSV’s B team, scoring 10 goals in 19 games in the Dutch second division this season.
But, with his contract expiring in July, PSV face losing a player some have called the new Ruud Van Nistelrooy. Juventus have started talks to sign the Netherlands U19 international and are planning to offer him a five-year deal before sending him out on loan.

The Serie A leaders will reportedly face competition from Everton, however, and the Toffees could have one key advantage.
Their director of football is Marcel Brands, the man who worked wonders behind the scenes at PSV and still has an excellent relationship with the Dutch giants.
