Everton’s first choice left-back is understood to be Lucas Digne but they are hedging their bets with a reported move for Lazio’s Serie A ace.

Could Everton fans be cheering on Lukaku from the sidelines next season? Possibly.
Because Cittaceleste in Italy is reporting that the Toffees have made a bid to sign the younger brother of their former number ten Romelu Lukaku.
Jordan, however, is an attack-minded left-back rather than a prolific and powerful centre-forward. Two years younger at 23, Lukaku junior has been plying his trade with Lazio in Serie A for the last two seasons after moving from Oostende in his homeland.
But Cittaceleste reports that the seven-time Belgian international is hoping for a move to the Premier League this summer.

The report claims that Everton have made the first move. It is understood that they have seen an £8 million bid rejected by Lazio, whose president Claudio Lotito is renowned for demanding massive fees for key players.
It is understood that Lucas Digne of Barcelona is Everton’s first-choice target but they seem to have turned their attention to Lukaku, after seeing a £20 million bid for the France international rejected by the La Liga champions.
It seems that Lazio would be willing to let Lukaku go at the right price, although that price must be higher than the one Everton have already offered.
