Arsene Wenger will leave Arsenal this summer but could reportedly stay in the Premier League with Everton.

The Frenchman announced on Friday that he would be stepping down as Arsenal manager after 22 years of loyal service, but it is understood that the 68-year-old has no intention of leaving the game completely.
Support for Wenger had dwindled among Arsenal’s fan base after a number of disappointing seasons, in which the Gunners have slipped ever further from the top of the table.

But Wenger is still held in very high regard in the world game and there are a number of clubs across the continent who would be happy to hand the veteran tactician his first new club since 1996.
And, according to The Telegraph, one of those could be Everton.
Sam Allardyce is under big pressure at Goodison Park with results and the style of football hardly impressing supporters, and the former England manager is not expected to remain on Merseyside next season.

The Telegraph believes that Everton represent Wenger’s best chance of staying in the Premier League, with the Toffees’ majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri a big admirer of the long-serving Arsenal boss from his time on the North London giants’ board.
The report adds that Wenger could be keen on a director of football role, however, or a return to former club Monaco this summer.
