Wilfried Zaha is reportedly a target for Premier League outfit Everton – but could his possible arrival see former teammate Yannick Bolasie leave the club?

Ironically enough, Everton are reportedly ready to sell one man in order to fund a deal to sign his former team-mate.

While Yannick Bolasie has hardly been given the chance to justify his £28 million price-tag since moving to Everton in 2016 thanks to a serious injury that kept him out for over a year, Wilfried Zaha has blossomed into one of the Premier League’s most influential attackers at Crystal Palace.

So much so that Palace are valuing him at an eye-watering £70 million – which would make him the third most expensive signing in the history of England’s top flight behind Paul Pogba, Virgil van Dijk and Romelu Lukaku.

The Mail reports that new Everton manager Marco Silva is a big fan and is keen to make Zaha his first signing at Goodison Park but, in addition to having to pay £70 million, The Toffees also face competition from Tottenham and Dortmund.

Though the report adds that Everton are now exploring ways to finance a deal that would make the Ivorian winger their most expensive ever player.

And it is understood that they could look to cash in on Zaha’s one-time Palace partner Bolasie in order to raise funds for a massive bid for the former Manchester United winger.

This would surely ruin Fenerbahce’s hopes of landing Bolasie on loan for the season.
