Everton paid Crystal Palace a fee of around £30 million to sign Yannick Bolasie in the summer of 2016. Two years on, however, it appears that the winger’s valuation has tumbled to around half that fee.
Bolasie is facing an uncertain future at Everton right now, as he does not appear to be in the plans of new manager Marco Silva.
According to the Mirror, the Toffees will offer Crystal Palace the chance to sign him back in a potential player-plus-cash deal involving the coveted Wilfried Zaha, who Silva allegedly wants to make his first signing at Goodison Park.
And the report adds that Bolasie is valued at just £15 million these days, which rather sums up the poor recruitment that has taken place on Merseyside since Farhad Moshiri became the club’s majority shareholder two years ago.
The Mirror reported earlier in the week that Bolasie was closing in on a loan move to Turkish Super Lig outfit Fenerbahce. But it is understood that the 29-year-old does not want to bring an end to his Premier League career this summer.
So a return to Palace, the club he joined from Bristol City in 2012, would suit the Congolese international down to the ground. Bolasie made just 11 Premier League starts last season, after returning from over a year on the sidelines with injury.
