With Declan Rice’s future at West Ham United up in the air right now, it is no wonder that a host of Premier League clubs are allegedly lining up to sign the hugely promising teenager in a cut-price deal.

It is well documented that Rice’s current contract is due to expire at the end of next season and, try as they might, West Ham have failed to tie him down to a long-term deal. According to the Standard, the 19-year-old is currently earning £3,000-a-week and has now rejected an offer worth £15,000.

It seems this has not gone unnoticed. According to the Gambling Times, Rice has a number of top flight clubs following his progress, with the likes of Wolverhampton Wanderers and Everton at the front of the queue.

Big-spending Wolves have shown a huge amount of ambition since being taken over by Chinese billionaires Fosun in 2016, and they have taken to the Premier League like a duck to water after winning the Championship title last season.

Everton, meanwhile, have made a habit of targeting talented youngsters in recent transfer windows; a trend that will only continue with Marcel Brands as their director of football.

Manchester City, Arsenal and West Ham’s bitter rivals Tottenham are also understood to be tracking Rice, who can play at centre-back or defensive midfield and has shone since forcing his way into Manuel Pellegrini’s starting XI this month.
