Jasper Cillessen wants to leave La Liga champions Barcelona with Premier League duo Everton and West Ham United reportedly interested.

Everton and West Ham United have joined the race to sign want-away Barcelona goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen, according to Sport.
The Dutch number one has spent the last three seasons with the Catalan giants but he has made just five La Liga appearances, spending the vast majority of his time sitting on the bench with Marc-Andre Ter Stegen firmly established as the club’s first choice between the sticks.
As a result, Cillessen has made it clear that he wants to leave the Camp Nou this summer but he himself has admitted to Voetbal International that his £53 million release clause makes securing a move away easier said than done.
“The market is really crazy. Honestly. It’s true they are paying incredible transfer fees for players that we all know aren’t worth that much,” the former Ajax ‘keeper said.
Benfica have tried and failed to sign Cillessen, having offered just £12 million, though it remains to be seen whether Everton or West Ham are willing to meet Barcelona’s price-tag. The reigning Spanish champions want in excess of £18 million.

A move to Everton would see Cillessen provide competition for England international Jordan Pickford, who endured a difficult campaign at club level.
West Ham, meanwhile, have already signed Roberto Jimenez and David Martin this summer so their apparent interest in Cillessen is something of a surprise.
