Kwadwo Asamoah is about to leave Serie A giants Juventus and has admirers in the Premier League in Everton and Tottenham Hotspur.

Kwadwo Asamoah might be one of the most underrated players in European football.

When the Juventus utility man’s contract comes to an end at the end of the season, he could have a sixth straight Serie A title under his belt as long as Max Allegri’s league leaders manage to see off competition from plucky challengers Napoli.

And while Asamoah has not exactly been one of the headline names in Juve’s golden era of dominance, the versatile Ghanaian international remains one of the most valued if understated members of a brilliant squad.

Although it seems that both Everton and Tottenham Hotspur at least know just how talented the 29-year-old is.

Because Calciomercato is reporting that the Premier League duo are both considering a move to bring Asamoah to England at the end of the season, provided they can see off competition from Serie A giants Inter Milan, who have offered him a three-year contract.

Everton are in the market for a left-back to provide competition to Leighton Baines, while Tottenham may also need to reinforce the position amid doubts about Danny Rose’s future in North London.

Asamoah, who can also play in central midfield, would be a terrific solution to the problem without either club needing to spend a penny in transfer fees.

Although, as it stands, it seems that Goodison Park is the more likely destination, because while Tottenham have allegedly about Asamoah, Calciomercato claim that Everton are ‘moving decisively’ in his direction.
