Rabbi Matondo could be the latest young forward to leave Premier League champions Manchester City with Everton and Southampton reportedly interested.

Jadon Sancho of Dortmund runs with the ball during the Bundesliga match between Borussia Dortmund and FC Augsburg at Signal Iduna Park on October 6, 2018 in Dortmund, Germany.

Two years after Jadon Sancho rejected a contract at Manchester City and joined Borussia Dortmund, the Premier League champions could lose another teenage winger.

According to the Mail, 18-year-old Rabbi Matondo has turned down the chance to commit his future to the Etihad giants with his current deal set to run out in 2020.

And the report adds that two Premier League clubs are watching the situation closely with Everton and Southampton eyeing a potential bargain move for teenager Matondo.

A Liverpool-born forward who made his debut for the Wales senior side during November’s 1-0 defeat to Albania, it is understood that he could follow Sancho to the Bundesliga with Borussia Monchengladbach interested.

The German high-flyers have already raided one English club this season, landing Keanan Bennetts from Tottenham Hotspur. West Ham youngster Reece Oxford also spent time on loan at Gladbach recently.

Goal have claimed that the likes of Bayern Munich, Dortmund and RB Leipzig are also keen while City are still hopeful of tying Matondo down to a new contract.

But with Everton boss Marco Silva and Southampton counterpart Ralph Hasenhuttle renowned for their attacking style and trust in youth, he shouldn’t rule out joining another Premier League side.
