Premier League duo Everton and Liverpool have reportedly joined the race for rising League One starlet Tom Bayliss.

Tom Bayliss could be on his way to Merseyside this summer with both Liverpool and Everton hoping to sign the Coventry City youngster, according to TEAMtalk.
The England U19 international has emerged as a real star for the future since forcing his way into the Sky Blues’ first-team towards the end of 2017.
He has even made 41 League One appearances in the 2018/19 campaign, contributing three goals and three assists.
The Mirror (5 May, page 51) reported that Leeds United, Newcastle and Middlesbrough were keen to snap up Bayliss, despite the fact that he only signed a new four-year contract in September.
But they will face competition from both Liverpool and Everton if TEAMtalk is to be believed, with the Premier League rivals both joining the chase to sign one of the most promising young talents in the Football League.

Considering that Everton’s director of football Marcel Brands has spoken frequently about the importance of bringing the next generation of potential superstars to Goodison Park, it is no surprise that Bayliss has caught the Toffees’ eye.
TEAMtalk adds that he has a £3 million clause in his contract.
