Torino’s Serie A speed king Mbaye Niang impressed for Senegal at the World Cup and could reportedly return to the Premier League with Everton or Arsenal.

Senegal have to be one of the most unfortunate teams at this year’s World Cup.

Despite outclassing Poland and shining in attack during a 2-2 draw with Japan, the African nation eventually missed out on a place in the knockout rounds thanks to the seldom-seen fair play rule.

But if Mbaye Niang can take any positives out of Senegal’s massive frustration, it is that his displays over in Russia appear to have turned a few heads.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Torino forward is on the radar of Premier League duo Arsenal and Everton, not to mention Ligue 1 giants Nice and Monaco.

The 23-year-old speedster has never lived up to the glowing potential that earned him a big move from Caen to AC Milan as a teenager in 2012.

But Niang was one of Senegal’s brightest sparks during their short-lived World Cup campaign, pouncing on a series of bizarre mistakes to score his first international goal in that 2-0 win against Poland in the group stages.

Quick and powerful, Niang would look a good fit for an Everton side who are trying to add some pace and unpredictability in attack.

Niang also has Premier League experience under his belt already, playing 16 times on loan at Watford from Milan during the second half of the 2016/17 season.
