Could Premier League newcomers Norwich City lose Simon Power? Bundesliga and Eredivisie giants are allegedly keen, as are Ligue 1 outfit Lyon.

Norwich City are facing a battle hanging onto highly-rated Irishman Simon Power this summer with TEAMtalk claiming that he is a target for Borussia Dortmund and Lyon.

The Canaries stormed to the Championship title in May to seal their return to the Premier League under Daniel Farke. And, as you’d expect, a remarkable 2018/19 season has resulted in plenty of interest in some of Norwich’s star players.

Max Aarons, Teemu Pukki and Timm Klose have been linked with moves away from Carrow Road though speculation about Power’s future will come as more of a shock.

After all, the 21-year-old didn’t play a single minute of Championship football in 2018/19, instead making just two starts during a loan spell in the Dutch second tier with Dordrecht.

Nevertheless, two of the biggest clubs in France and Germany are still keen on the jet-heeled winger. Eredivisie duo PSV Eindhoven and Ajax, the latter finishing last season as double winners and Champions League semi-finalists, are keen too.

Norwich will want to hang onto Power though and given Daniel Farke’s record when it comes to bringing through young players, Republic of Ireland’s Toulon Tournament star could perhaps be persuaded to reject the advances of some bona fide European giants.
