Donald Love has been a disaster at Sunderland since David Moyes signed him from Manchester United, starting just four League One games under Jack Ross.

Donald Love is on his way out of Sunderland with the Echo claiming that the misfit right-back is set to join League One rivals Shrewsbury Town.
The Scotland U21 international became the latest player to swap Manchester United for Wearside in the summer of 2016, reuniting with former Old Trafford boss David Moyes at the Stadium of Light alongside Paddy McNair.
But unlike Kieran Richardson, John O’Shea, Wes Brown and co, Love failed to revitalise his career in the North East. A dismal Premier League season which ended in relegation two years ago has rather set the tone for a Sunderland career which has been a huge disappointment.
The fact that he started just four League One games last season under Jack Ross, and six the season before, speaks volumes about how little he has progressed.

And the Sunderland Echo believes that the 24-year-old has now played his final game in red and white stripes. Sunderland are expected to release by mutual consent Love with Shrewsbury Town his most likely destination.
Not that the fans will be too sorry to see him go. Love will be the second right-back to leave this summer after Adam Matthews but, in Northern Ireland international Conor McLaughlin, Sunderland have signed an experienced performer proven at League One level.
He looks like an upgrade already.
