Divock Origi was reportedly in talks with Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund but could now stay in the Premier League with Liverpool instead.

Divock Origi could be set for one last chance at Liverpool after all.
The Belgian striker has gone from one of Liverpool’s brightest prospects to their forgotten man in the space of just over a year. He struggled during a loan spell at Wolfsburg last season while Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino established themselves as arguably the most feared attack in all of Europe.
As a result, it was expected that Origi would be on his way. But, according to Goal, that might not be the case after all.
It is reported that the Belgian striker has been in talks over a potential return to the Bundesliga with Borussia Dortmund. But Lucian Favre’s black and yellows have refused to meet Origi’s price-tag.
This, coupled with Liverpool’s refusal to loan him out again, means the deal is ‘dead in the water’ according to Goal.

The report adds that the 23-year-old has impressed manager Jurgen Klopp behind closed doors and the German would be happy to keep hold of Origi so long as no one is willing to pay the fee Liverpool are demanding.
Liverpool had accepted £22 million from Wolves for Origi earlier in the month but it is understood that he rejected the move to Molineux.
