West Ham United allegedly remain interested in the Barcelona player.

If Barcelona had signed Philippe Coutinho six months earlier, there is a good chance Andre Gomes would already be halfway through his maiden Premier League season.
Yet with Coutinho now ready and waiting to strut his stuff at the Camp Nou, it appears that Gomes is back on the market.

A few weeks have passed with little movement on the Gomes to Tottenham front, however. And with eight days to go until the window slams shut, bitter rivals West Ham could be set to step up their pursuit.

Gomes, however, is still on their radar though a deal looks unlikely unless Barca reduce their asking price.
It is understood that the Catalan giants want £30 million in order to recoup most of the fee they paid Valencia for Gomes a year-and-a-half ago; but West Ham would prefer to sign him on loan instead.
There is a long way to go in this particular deal.
