Championship giants Leeds United made a shock move to bring record-breaking Serie A wonder-kid Moise Kean to Elland Road from Juventus.

Leeds United are used to seeing rather left-wing signings arrive at Elland Road on the watch of director of football Victor Orta.
Kean is just 17 and is one of the most exciting talents in European football. He even became the first player born in the 21st century to score in one of the continent’s top five leagues when he headed home a last-gasp winner against Bologna on the final day of last season.

And the fact that Kean is represented by one Mino Raiola, the outspoken agent who works almost exclusively with the world’s best, is perhaps the biggest indication of his potential.
It is worth noting that the Italy Under-19 international is spending the season on loan at Hellas Verona in Serie A, meaning Leeds could only bring him to Elland Road in the summer.
Though according to Calciomercato, Leeds would be willing to pay the majority of Kean’s weekly wages, which perhaps shows just how highly the young striker is regarded by those in the know at Elland Road.

It is likely that Kean earns far less due to his young age and would not threaten to obliterate Leeds’ wage structure.
But it seems that the Whites are keen to sweeten the deal in order to tempt Juve into letting their superstar-in-waiting spend next season at Elland Road.
