West Bromwich Albion star Chris Brunt ripped into Alan Pardew’s tactics after Huddersfield Town loss – and the manager could bow down to his demands.

West Brom’s 2-1 home defeat to relegation rivals Huddersfield Town on Saturday might not have been the final straw for the Baggies board but it seems that long-serving star man Chris Brunt has had enough.
The Northern Ireland international, who has been with the club since 2007, then turned on under-fire manager Alan Pardew for sticking with a four man midfield and being completely swamped by Huddersfield.

Pardew made the surprise decision to leave Brunt, who had set up four of West Brom’s last six league goals, on the bench so it is understandable that the 33-year-old had plenty to say for himself.
And according to The Mirror, Pardew’s situation has become so desperate that he looks likely to bow down to player power and bring Brunt back into the starting XI for a crucial clash with Watford. It is understood that the 56-year-old will be sacked if the Baggies fail to win.

As a result, Pardew will scrap the 4-4-2 formation in favour of a five-man midfield for the trip to Vicarage Road with Brunt at the forefront.
This perhaps reflects just how bad things have got at The Hawthorns that Pardew, a week after being criticised by one of his key players, is now set to hand that man a re-call and seemingly follow his tactical advice.
