Krystian Bielik is reportedly set to leave Premier League powerhouses Arsenal for Phillip Cocu’s Championship hopefuls Derby County.

Derby County are set to complete the signing of Arsenal youngster Krystian Bielik in a deal that could cost a club-record £10 million, as reported by the Mail.
It seemed only a matter of time before Bielik bid farewell to Arsenal. The 21-year-old Poland starlet arrived at the Emirates in 2015 from Legia Warsaw but a player Arsene Wenger had big plans for will never get the chance to fulfil his vast potential in Arsenal’s famous red and white shirt.
After a series of loan spells, at Birmingham, Walsall and Charlton Athletic respectively, Bielik told Goal earlier in the summer that he had no intention of returning to The Emirates to play U23 football now that he had a taste of life in the senior game.
So a move to Derby, which is set to be completed with a medical planned for Thursday, looks like the chance Bielik has been dreaming of.
The versatile midfielder will work under Phillip Cocu, a coach who turned Memphis Depay, Gini Wijnaldum and Hirving Lozano into starts at PSV, and could form a new-look midfield alongside Graeme Shinnie and Kieran Dowell at Pride Park.

“I think Krystian is a scary player,” former Arsenal youngster Cohen Bramall told Goal after Bielik’s winning goal against Italy at the U21 European Championships in June. “He can make it.”
Bielik is now set to replace Matej Vydra as the most expensive player in Derby’s history. And, if Bramall is right, he could be worth every penny.
