Bristol City face a challenge keeping centre-back Aden Flint with Championship rivals Derby County making a move.

Bristol City are just two points adrift of the second automatic promotion position in the Championship table but the team occupying that coveted runners-up spot, Derby County, are attempting to deliver a huge blow to the Robins’ Premier League dreams.
The 6ft 7ins powerhouse is one of the most in-demand defenders outside of the top flight and it is not difficult to work out why. Flint was instrumental as Lee Johnson’s side stayed up last season and has taken his game to another level this season, even scoring seven goals at the other end of the pitch.

And it is understood that Derby rate Flint so highly that they have offered as much as £6 million, although Bristol City want an eight-figure sum for their talisman.

West Brom are also keen on the former Swindon Town man and might step up their interest if Jonny Evans makes his expected move to Arsenal before January becomes February, the Sun claims.
But it remains to be seen whether Derby are still in the race.
