Championship duo Derby County and Cardiff City reportedly want Scottish Premiership midfielder Turnbull with Bristol City keen, too.

Derby County, Cardiff City and Bristol City are all competing to sign the highly-rated Motherwell midfielder David Turnbull this summer, according to the Scottish Sun.
The 2018/19 season has seen Turnbull force his way into Stephen Robinson’s starting XI and establish himself as one of the most exciting talents north of the border.
The 19-year-old has scored an impressive 14 goals in all competitions and was duly named the Football Writers Association’s Young Scottish Player of the Year on Sunday night.
But, despite being under contract at Fir Park until 2021, there is a real chance that Turnbull has played his last game for Motherwell.
According to the Scottish Sun, Derby, Bristol City and Cardiff all sent scouts to watch the Scotland U21 international during The Well’s 2-0 loss to St Johnstone on Saturday.
Interestingly, play-off semi-finalists Derby have already signed one of the Premiership’s most eye-catching midfielders, Aberdeen captain Graeme Shinnie, but they will face plenty of competition if they want another.

Cardiff will need to enhance their engine room after being relegated from the Premier League with Harry Arter and Victor Camarasa seeing their loan spells come to an end.
“I am not sure my future is really up to me,” Turnbull told the Sunday Post yesterday. “I just want to come back next season and see what happens.
“If clubs come in and put a bid in then it is obviously a bonus and shows that I am doing well, but I am not sure it is up to me.
“If somebody came in and bid a lot of money I am sure the club would want to take it and maybe look at a loan back if I went somewhere.”
