Marcus Browne’s staggering form at Oxford United has reportedly caught the eye of Derby County, West Brom, Sheffield United and Bristol City.

Rio Ferdinand went from the West Ham academy to the very top of the world game so there is worse people to be mentoring the talented young Marcus Browne.
Alongside Declan Rice, Browne is arguably the biggest talent to emerge from The Hammers’ famed youth system in recent memory and the 21-year-old has enhanced his growing reputation with a fantastic loan spell at Oxford United.
The mercurial midfielder has scored five goals so far while also earning rave reviews from fans and team-mates alike. Speaking to the Oxford Mail, Us defender Cameron Branagan described Browne as ‘different class’ after he scored twice in a 4-2 win against Rochdale.
Now, The Sun reports that West Ham could look to cut short his spell at Oxford in order to give Browne the chance to prove himself at a higher level. And a number of Championship clubs are lining up to give him the opportunity.

It is reported that West Brom, Sheffield United and Derby County are all hoping to enhance their promotion prospects with a short-term loan deal for the London-born attacker while Bristol City are understood to be keen too.
West Brom and Derby, in particular, would be an excellent fit on paper with the attacking, free-flowing styles favoured by Darren Moore and Frank Lampard likely to suit Browne down to the ground.
