RB Leipzig’s forgotten man could be on his way to Huddersfield Town in the coming days.
Huddersfield Town boss David Wagner is set to reunite with US striker Terrence Boyd at the John Smith’s Stadium, Bild reports.
The 25-year-old, who worked with Wagner during his spell in the Borussia Dortmund youth system, is out of contract at the end of the season and appears unlikely to remain at RB Leipzig despite the newly-promoted powerhouse flying to second place in their first Bundesliga campaign.

Boyd is still working his way back from a cruciate ligament injury but has been scoring on a prolific basis for Leipzig’s reserve team, and the Terriers obviously have few concerns about his fitness as they identify him as the player capable of maintaining their surprise promotion challenge over the second half of the campaign.
The Red Bull funded Germans paid £1.7 million for the former US under-23 international in 2014, according to the Huddersfield Examiner, and his move to Yorkshire for a minimal fee means the Championship side may have pulled off quite the bargain.

Elias Kachunga and Nahki Wells have scored 15 times between them this season but, beyond them, only Kasey Palmer has more than two.
Therefore, if Wagner can coax out the kind of prolific form that saw Boyd net 20 times in 32 appearances for Dortmund’s second team in 2011/12, Huddersfield could energise their impressive challenge for a top six finish.
