Premier League champions Manchester City are reportedly set to sign Australian World Cup star Daniel Arzani and loan him to Celtic

Daniel Arzani could be a Celtic player very soon.
The Daily Record reported a week ago that the youngest player at the 2018 World Cup was set to join Brendan Rodgers’ squad on a two-year loan once he seals his move to Premier League champions Manchester City.
19-year-old Arzani has exploded onto the scene Down Under with Melbourne City, winning the A-League’s Young Footballer of the Year award before featuring in all three group stage games for Australia in Russia.
And latest reports from the Daily Record (live blog, 10.48am) suggest that Celtic fans won’t have long to wait to see the exciting winger wearing green and white.

It is reported that Arzani arrived in Britain on Friday morning to sign a long-term contract with Pep Guardiola’s City before heading north of the border to Glasgow.
The teenage superstar has also posted a photo on his official Instagram account which seems to back up the Daily Record’s claims that he has now touched down on English soil.
It remains to be seen whether Arzani, who has been identified by some as Australia’s biggest talent since Harry Kewell, can have the same impact that Patrick Roberts made during his loan spell at Celtic from Manchester City.
