Curtis Jones has not yet made his Premier League debut for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool but it feels like a matter of time.

Curtis Jones has a long way to go before he can consider himself a fully-fledged member of Liverpool’s first team. But, according to Goal, the 18-year-old is confident that he can force his way into Jurgen Klopp’s plans very soon and overtake his more experienced teammates at Anfield.
A Liverpool-born midfielder, Jones was only four months old when Sami Hyypia, Steven Gerrard and Michael Owen lifted the UEFA Cup after that thrilling nine-goal final against Alaves in May 2001.
But, alongside Harvey Elliot, Yasser Larouchi and Paul Glatzel, the England U19 international has been tipped to make his mark at Anfield sooner rather than later.
Jones made his first and so far only Reds appearance during the FA Cup clash with Wolves in January but he featured regularly in pre-season with Klopp giving plenty of minutes to a select group of highly-rated youngsters.

And, according to Goal, Jones turned down the chance to play regular first-team football on loan at Fleetwood Town under Joey Barton this season as he feels he can overtake the likes of Naby Keita and Adam Lallana in Klopp’s pecking order.
In stark contrast to Bobby Duncan, the prolific young striker who was unveiled by Fiorentina last week after a dream move to his boyhood club descended into a nightmare, Jones signed a new five-year deal earlier in the summer and his future most certainly lies at Anfield.
