Jonny Williams has not made a Premier League appearance all season for Crystal Palace and might jump at the chance to join League One Charlton Athletic.

You have to feel for Jonny Williams.
The Crystal Palace midfielder is a player with real natural talent, a skilful and creative footballer who starred as Wales reached the semi-finals of Euro 2016. But, time and time again, his body has let him down.
At the age of 25, Williams has played just 118 league games with injuries a constant struggle. A loan spell at Sunderland last season was limited to 13 appearances in all competitions.
And, with Williams being left out of the match day squad for every one of Palace’s Premier League games this season, it seems that he is set to leave Selhurst Park on a temporary basis once again, with London neighbours Charlton Athletic allegedly keen to snap him up.

That is according to the Sun (3 January, page 49) who believe that Williams could be on his way to The Valley. Charlton are fifth in the League One table, six points adrift of the automatic promotion positions as things stand.
Williams has had five different loan spells away from Crystal Palace since 2014, spending time at Ipswich Town, Nottingham Forest, MK Dons and Sunderland.
